Liphook Services
Liphook Services is located on the A3(M) Northbound Carriageway. It was developed in the 1980’s and contains a Petrol Station, a former Travelodge Hotel (which had been disused for a number of years) and a Starbucks coffee shop. Following pre-application discussions with the Local Planning Authority, a planning application for the conversion and change of use of the former Travelodge to offices and the adaptation of the existing Starbucks to a drive-thru (with associated parking areas and landscaping) was prepared and submitted and subsequently approved.
During the course of the application it was necessary to discuss and liaise with Highways England regarding the concerns that it had regarding potential queues on the existing slip roads from the A3(M) into the site and resolve these.
